We traded for a really unique 2008 Ford F-350 diesel truck (#358742B). We aren't going to certify the truck, due to age and miles, so I wanted to give all customers and sales staff a heads up as to some of the mechanical issues we found--but won't be fixing. (A laminated copy of the Used Car Inspection and Estimate will be in the truck for all customers to review.) This F-350 needs all sorts of maintenance work. There is a leak in the exhaust manifold. Our tech saw what looked like someone's previous attempt to repair the leak, and perhaps evidence of the previous repair attempt resulting in a couple of bolts breaking off. You can still see the broken bolts. To access the exhaust manifold and engine, you'd probably need to take the cab off the truck, which is an expensive repair. ** The tires are dated 2015 but have 8/32nd's tread remaining. The two batteries tested on the low side, but still start the truck. (It requires two batteries because it is so big).** And it has several other maintenance items listed. This is a big ol' truck! And a new 2026 version of a F-350 Dual-Rear Wheel 4WD King Ranch might have a MSRP over $103,000. So this is a very affordable version.** Customers are more than welcome to have this inspected by a 3rd party. It will be sold AS-IS, No Warranty, With all Faults.(more)
