New standard features for the 2021 Mazda CX-30 2.5 S
The start of the 2021 Mazda CX-30 now begins with the 2021 Mazda CX-30 2.5 S. This entry-level trim gives you a lot to love with standard features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This means that all 2021 Mazda CX-30 trims give you impressive smartphone connectivity options right out of the gate.
Other features that you can expect to find on this base trim level include a Wi-Fi hotspot, an 8.8-inch infotainment system, an eight-speaker sound system, Mazda radar cruise control, smart brake supper, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, high beam control, and much more.
Does the 2021 Mazda CX-30 offer a turbo engine?
The 2020 Mazda CX-30 debuted with the powerful 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that has become a popular option on other Mazda models. In the 2020 Mazda CX-30 as well as the 2021 Mazda CX-30 this engine produces up to 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. This year, there is a turbo option also available.
At the top of the 2021 Mazda CX-30 trim level lineup, you have the 2.5 Turbo, 2.5 Turbo Premium, and the top 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus. As their name implies, they are the trims that come with a turbocharged version of the previously mentioned engine.
The 2.5-liter turbocharged engine can output up to 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque when used with 93 octane fuel or 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque when operated with regular 87-octane fuel. These trims also come standard with all-wheel drive putting that turbo engine to good use by supplying power to all four wheels.
