What is the best way to disinfect my car to prevent coronavirus?
We’ve all been affected by coronavirus in one way or another. The recent string of cases and the serious nature of the virus has led to a bit of a panicked frenzy amongst some. We all have a responsibility to do what we can to help slow down the spread. Take a look at the best way to disinfect your car to prevent coronavirus!
Your car can be a great way for the coronavirus to spread. As you’re traveling around, you may encounter an infected person or even have an infected person in your car without them knowing. Even if your car seems clean, it’s always a good idea to disinfect on a regular basis. The best way to do this is with an alcohol solution with at least 70 percent alcohol. While hydrogen peroxide and bleach may work well on many surfaces, these can damage the trim and seats in your car. Simply apply the solution to a microfiber cloth and gently scrub all surfaces except for the touchscreen (this can be disinfected with a bleach-free wipe). It helps to vacuum out the interior first so that you don’t get crumbs and dirt in your way.
Chances are you have probably cleaned your car before, but probably haven’t disinfected it. Now is a great time to start. Learn more tips and tricks here on our blog!
