As we mentioned, the 2018 Mazda3 comes in two body styles and three trim levels. In all, the new Mazda3 lineup features the 2018 Mazda3 Sport 4-Door, the 2018 Mazda3 Touring 4-Door, the 2018 Mazda3 Grand Touring 4-Door, the 2018 Mazda3 Sport 5-Door, the 2018 Mazda3 Touring 5-Door and the 2018 Mazda3 Grand Touring 5-Door. The two new Mazda3 Sport models feature the same SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter DOHC engine capable of offering up to 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque while getting 27 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway when paired with the SKYACTIV-MT 6-speed manual transmission, and 28 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway when paired with the SKYACTIV-DRIVE 6-speed automatic transmission featuring manual shift and Sport mode functions. The other four 2018 Mazda3 models feature a SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter DOHC engine capable of providing up to 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque while getting up to 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway when paired with the SKYACTIV-MT 6-speed manual transmission, and up to 27 miles per gallon in the city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway when paired with the SKYACTIV-DRIVE 6-speed automatic transmission.
