Royal Volvo’s service staff (Matt and Tony) are always friendly. They let me know what to expect in terms of turn-around time and will have loaner car available if it’s going to take a significant amount of time to complete work on my 2018 XC60. This dealership is clean; has cleanable vinyl on chairs, no fabrics, and the chairs have little attached side tables (also clean). Waiting room has a nice big screen HDTV, complimentary hot coffee, and lots of natural light. Other Royal staff acknowledge you as they pass by, nodding, smiling, or saying hi/how are you. I also appreciate that the explanations I’m given aren’t overly technical. Matt and Tony speak in terms I understand without talking down to me or the other customers. The settings on my XC60 are always where they were when I take it in; lights, seat, music, etc. – and it is clean on the outside. It doesn’t smell like it’s been sitting in a mechanic’s garage (it still smells new), and there was not a feeling of dirt, grime, or grease on the steering wheel. I also appreciated the follow-up contact after my service visit.
